350 New homes sold in Bulgaria every day
About 350 new homes are being sold in Bulgaria every single day, according to Sofia's Registry Bureau. Bulgaria's Registry Bureau issues a mortgage history certificate for every property. Such certificate is needed for the purchase of the property and for mortgaging it. Because of the great influx of home-buyers, certificates are issued with a two- to three-day delay.
Compared to the same period last year, this summer's sales have increased fourfold, Standart Daily reports.
Experts predict property prices will hike in September. This is one reason investors and buyers are rushing to buy apartments during the summer months.
The expected price hike in autumn varies from 10 to 15 per cent.
