BULGARIANS IN EU
EU member states have given legal jobs to 220 000 Bulgarians, Johan Ten Geuzendam of the Employment and Mobility Services department with the European Commission said. The figure represented four per cent of all Europeans working in the EU, outside of their home country. At present, the EU collectively had four million vacancies, he said. Of the total job offers listed on the European Job Mobility Portal, 2300 cater directly to Bulgarians. The majority of employers wanting to employ Bulgarians are from Cyprus, Slovenia, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
