Bulgaria's Eco Activists Stage 5th Rally on Natura 2000

Bulgaria's eco-activists staged their fifth eccentric protest over the Natura 2000 network on Thursday in front of the Council of Ministers building.

This time the protesters decided to make headstands to show their infinite determination to support the inclusion of all initial areas under the protection of the program.

Last week's Thursday the eco activists asked the ministers to choose between two presents: Easter eggs with four-leaf clovers and ostrich eggs made to money-boxes.

Bulgaria will face fines from the EC if the country fails to meet the EU requirements on Natura 2000, the protesters warned and added the fines can reach EUR 100 000 for each day of delay in the Natura 2000 decision. (http://www.novinite.com )
