Construction activity in Bulgaria's coastal resorts continues despite the authorities' ban

Although construction ban in the southern Black Sea resort Tsarevo has already c0me into effect, construction work is still going on.

Tsarevo Municipality representatives told expert.bg that investors prefer paying fines to ceasing work. Fines for violation of the construction ban vary from 500 to 1000 leva. Investor losses from ceasing construction exceed those sums.

Beaches in Tsarevo are turned into construction sites,  Munisipality representatives said. Tourists are welcomed by dirt, noise and trucks instead of clean beaches.
