Bulgaria and Romania’s EU accession would make the countries ‘extremely popular’ among UK property investors, British realestatetv.tv said.

Experts said that Bulgaria and Romania would register a significant increase in the number of property seekers in the several years to come.

A real estate agency representative told realestatetv.tv that the two countries' EU accession was a “key opportunity for property investment in these emerging markets.”

The example of the other former Eastern bloc countries which joined the EU in 2004, where property prices increased significantly, showed that investment in Bulgaria and Romania’s property markets would increase.

Rental market would attract a number of investors as a result of the higher number of tour operators focusing on Bulgaria and Romania, realestatetv.tv said.
