Lasse Kjus opens winter season in Bulgaria
Ski legend Lasse Kjus will come to Bulgaria for the opening of winter season 2006/2007.
The Norwegian will make a demonstration in Bansko, BGNES Sport agency reported. The opening of the season in the winter resort is scheduled for December 16.
Marc Girardelli, consultant of the national ski team, will also take part in the demonstration, as he did previous years.
Kjus is an Olympic champion from the 1994 games in Lillehammer. He also holds three world champion titles.
A number of famous ski competitors already participated in the opening Bulgaria's winter season. Among them are Rosi Mittermaier-Neureuther and Franz Klammer.
