Owner of construction site in Bansko to pay BGN 4,000 to BGN 10,000 for refusing to cooperate to regional labor inspectorate
Bansko. The owner of the construction company in Bansko, where a concrete platform collapsed today, has refused to cooperate to the regional labor inspectorate, the Director of the regional inspectorate Nikolay Mavrodiev said in an interview for FOCUS News Agency.
‘The check will continue tomorrow. We called the regional police to deal with the refusal and tomorrow we will continue to establish the reasons for the incident’, Mavrodiev said.
As FOCUS announced earlier, a concrete platform collapsed at a construction site in the Bulgarian winter resort town of Bansko at a moment when seven workers were standing on it. The workers were transported to a hospital in the town of Razlog. One of them had to be hospitalized.
Her is 39 years old and doctors fear that two of his vertebrae could be broken, but this is still to be confirmed by tests. According to initial information his life is out of danger.
The incident happened at about 5.50 pm.
