A quarterly analysis of personal wealth and financial industry in Bulgaria.

This report is a quarterly estimation of the households' wealth and an analysis of the major developments in the Bulgarian financial industry. It provides information on the entire distribution of personal wealth by covering a broad range of households' assets and liabilities. We offer both macroeconomic overview of Bulgaria as well as microeconomic analysis of the essential characteristics of financial intermediaries determining their role and impact on the households' saving behaviour. The objective of the analysis is to reveal the effectiveness of financial intermediation in the process of wealth accumulation and transformation of savings into capital.
