Sofia Municipality buys property near Kremikovtsi

Sofia Municipality will purchase an area by Kremikovtsi for 12 million leva in order not to pay rent for its usage.

The money is from the budget surplus of  25 million leva, 22 million of which came from the increase of the price of construction permits. The price is between 6  and 14 leva a sq m, while it was 0.80 leva in previous years.

A huge amount of the money will be used for the purchase of sport facilities, kindergartens, cleaning the rivers’ beds, planting in neighborhoods, reconstruction of playing grounds, etc.
